Tom Wood, CEO, RWA e-Learning
Leading the whole RWA team, Tom has been with RWA for over 10 years and is a specialist in e-Learning and team development. Having been responsible for the 1st generation OBELISK platform all those years ago, he now sets up and runs learning solutions for companies across the globe. In 2014, Tom was a winner at the Leading Wales Awards for his commitment to developing sustainable business practices for the future.
Paul Hayle, Head of Service Delivery, RWA e-Learning
Paul is the first contact point for thousands of our Development Zone users. Managing the Account Management team, he will ensure that your user experience is at a high level. If you have any queries or need any supervisor support then please contact Paul who will help in any way he can. Look out for his monthly emails, too, which include important site news and information as well as a gentle reminder to continue your studies.
Tim Smith, Platform Development, RWA e-Learning
An ex teacher and examiner, Tim is charged with keeping the cogs turning under the bonnet of the Development Zone. He is passionate about education and is always looking for ways in which the platform can be developed further to increase the learning journey for our users. When he is not building new features into the platform, you can often find Tim cleaning up the code to ensure that the Development Zone runs as quickly as it does.
Stu Rolls, Learning & Development Manager, RWA e-Learning
Stu is responsible for ensuring our customers get the most out of the Development Zone. A learning and development specialist, he is keen to help you blend online learning with face to face delivery and to help you embed the Development Zone into your T&C schemes.
John Nutter, Learning & Development Manager, Aviva
John has been with Aviva for over 20 years, gaining a background in Claims, Underwriting, Financial Insurances and Sales, across a variety distributions channels and in both the Partnerships and Broker sectors. A CIPD qualified Learning & Development Manager, he leads the Aviva team of L&D Consultants, to deliver both Learning & Development and Optimisation solutions that provide tangible results for both Aviva and their customers.
Hazel Brewer, e-Learning Design Team Leader, RWA e-Learning
With a background in creative design and teaching, Hazel is the magic behind the courseware and graphics designs. Skilled in taking difficult technical learning material and turning it into engaging and manageable e-learning modules for our users, she is passionate about making learning visual and appealing to the eye.
James Lucas, Learning & Development Consultant, Aviva
For 8 years James worked as a commercial insurance broker with experience in engineering & speciality lines, wholesale broking into the Lloyds market, large international corporate business and SME schemes business. Prior to joining Aviva in 2013, James spent 6 years working directly with brokers delivering technical and competency training and assessment. He has a Professional Diploma in Education and the Cert CII qualification, which provides him with the skills and knowledge to be a dedicated Insurance L&D professional.
Lisa Powell, e-Learning Designer, RWA e-Learning
Lisa is studying for her Masters in Creative Writing and joined the RWA team in 2014. She uses her excellent proof reading and writing skills to support her design work on the course creation team. Lisa enjoys the challenging aspects of making learning engaging and simple to follow.
Dan Wall, Learning & Development Consultant, Aviva
Dan's been with Aviva for over 13 years and as a fully qualified CIPD professional, he has spent more than 10 years specialising in L&D and consultancy. Dan's background includes personal lines, commercial, HNW, life and claims, as well as both building new teams and improving existing ones. His last 8 years have been focused on Aviva’s partnership and broker relationships, gaining a wealth of experience across a variety of distribution channels, enabling Dan to share industry best practice and increase performance.

Amy joined the RWA team in 2012 and is a key member of the marketing team. She makes sure that the communications that we send out to our users are up to date, on time and relevant to all of our platform users.

Nicola is responsible for helping new businesses sign up for the Development Zone. She will normally be the first point of contact for those firms looking for a free trial and she will help users better understand the system and make sure they achieve the maximum benefits on offer.
